How have you all been?

We have been so busy opening our new store in Cherrywood. It's going really well although we've yet to get sign-writing and proper sandwich boards!

Guess what?? Remix Magazine called and are going to do an article on the jewellery we make with Lego and on our new store!! Yay!! ALSO, I was blown away because What Now presenter, the lovely Serena Rongonui, asked if we could supply What Now with jewellery in return for advertising on their show!!!! Praise God - honestly I am SO excited and grateful.

If you're having a hard time I just wanna say: Hang In There. 2 years ago I was having 7 seizures a day and was told there was no hope of it getting better. The Chronic Fatigue Syndrome had me in bead everyday for stretches of up to 3 weeks. I was depressed and sick of being sick (12 years it's been). There's always hope. God wil help you out of the Mirey Clay or give you a way through it.

Productivity Plus!

I've done MORE jewellery - I can't get enough of at the mo :) Which isn't always the case. I sometimes look at my chain and jump rings and feel sick :( I think it's the creating and not the replicating that I like. Please note that the Four Leaf Clover pendant is a genuine one and is from Aardvart - I just put it on my own chain.

Were you lucky enough to have had a Care Bear when you were young? I had good Luck bear
(did my parents know something I didn't....;) ) and always wondered why such seemingly strict Christian parents would give me something with a talisman on it :) Maybe I just suited green....

In Annie Blackberry news...

I just heard from www.toggle.co.nz that Sunday Star Times contacted them for a photo of Annie Blackberry's Lego Jewellery! When I called them they said that it would be in the 'Going Up' Meter column of their Sunday magazine! Yay!! M2 Womens Magazine did a 2 page spread on Etch which is Annie Blackberry's primary stockist of the 16 stores we have. Although AB didn't get a mention ( :( ) our jewellery can be seen in the centre of the photo accompanying the story.

Thank you to Tauranga Interior Designer and Artist and friend, Antonia Cooney, for hosting a wonderful Annie Blackberry jewellery party!! It was so fun. Her lovely Mediterranean-style house provided a beautiful backdrop for a packed party! It was lovely to meet everybody and I was very encouraged by the enthusiam (and sales) generated for AB.

Summer I Love You!

Summer, summer, summer! Ahhhhhhhh......

Tonight I had the best night - Andrew and I went to the coffee club for dinner - I love how they bring you the bill (I wish I could just put my card on the plate and say 'charge it' but it's just too Amercian ;) Plus I was paying by Eftpos). We saw Rach from Etch and it was lovely to see her. Then Debs and I had a drink at Orange Zephyr and were served by my lovely friend Sam and we listened to Jazz and talked about God. Then Andrew and I went to the Friends of the Warehouse nihgt and nothing was on special :(

ANYWAY....here is my new stuff, hope you love it :)
